About this website
The website at 7genesis.co.uk uses Cloudflare hosting. Accepted form submissions are saved to our private enquiry queue for manual review. The form does not send automatic email notifications. A reference confirms storage, not that someone has read or replied to the enquiry. You can also email us directly at seventhgenesisuk@gmail.com.
Information you provide
The form asks for your name, email, country, project description, selected service, budget and timing. Business name is optional. We also record the submission time, reference and your acknowledgement of the use of your details. If you contact us by email, we receive your address, message and any information you choose to include. Providing an enquiry is voluntary; the required details help us understand and respond to it. Please leave out passwords, payment details and sensitive personal information.
Why we use it
We use enquiry details to understand your request, communicate about it and consider a relevant proposal. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and managing those conversations. If you ask for steps towards a contract with you personally, we may also use the details for those steps at your request. The form does not subscribe you to marketing.
What happens when you submit
An accepted enquiry is stored in a private Cloudflare D1 database used by the website. It includes your submitted details, acknowledgement, time and unique reference. The enquiry queue is available to the team for manual review and is not publicly accessible. The form does not automatically email your enquiry or send a reply. If we respond by email, that correspondence is handled through our Google Gmail account. A downloaded brief is a separate copy on your device.
Security and connection information
Cloudflare processes connection and security information, including IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect the website. Our enquiry records do not contain IP addresses. Separate anti-abuse records use a hashed IP identifier and an expiry, with scheduled cleanup of expired entries. This supports our legitimate interests in preventing abuse and keeping the website available.
Providers and data locations
Cloudflare provides website hosting, protection and the database that stores form enquiries. Google processes correspondence sent to and from the Gmail account we use for business contact. Messages you send directly by email are handled by Google; the website form does not automatically forward its records to Gmail.
International processing
Cloudflare and Google operate international services. Website requests, stored enquiries and email correspondence may be processed outside the United Kingdom; we do not offer UK-only data residency. Provider information is available in Cloudflare’s data processing terms and Google’s privacy policy, including their international-transfer arrangements. Contact us if you need information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.
Browser preferences and external resources
The site uses browser storage to remember your light or dark theme and your privacy preference. No analytics or advertising trackers are active, even if you select an analytics preference. You can change the preference using the footer control or clear it in your browser settings. Google Fonts receives normal connection details, such as an IP address and browser information, when fonts are requested. Linked third-party websites have their own privacy notices.
How long we keep enquiries
We keep enquiry information only while needed to handle the request, follow up an agreed next step or deal with a related matter. The criteria are whether the discussion is still active, whether it has become a project and whether a specific legal or record-keeping need remains. Deletion is handled manually; this version has no automatic deletion schedule. You can ask us to delete an enquiry using the contact details below.
Your information rights
You can ask for access to your personal information or for incorrect information to be corrected. You may also request deletion or restriction of its use, and data portability where that right applies. Rights depend on the circumstances and any applicable exceptions. We may need proportionate information to verify that a request relates to you. We do not use these enquiries for solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Your right to object
You can object to our use of your information based on legitimate interests, explaining your particular circumstances. We will consider the objection and explain our response.
